Painting the Reaper Bones starter set so I have monsters for the RPG nights without the painting becoming a project of its own.

The rule I set myself: one hour per mini, total. That includes basing.

The Bones plastic is soft and the detail is okay. Not great. The skeletons came out best — the deep undercuts take a wash and look fine. The orcs are passable. The dragon is the one I'd want to redo with more time, but the rule was one hour and I'm sticking to it.

These are now in the RPG box. They'll see the table within a fortnight. That's the win condition — a painted monster on the table beats an unpainted one in a drawer every time.
